La Coquita was established in December by creator and designer, Tomas Montoya. He is an architect with ten years experience in theater and dance training and he studied at LaSalle College. He has worked in stage design and costume design. La Coquita design headpieces, fascinators, hats and all types of head accessories for both men and women. Mostly vintage inspired but with a contemporary and a free-style twist; lots of birds, veiling, fruit and colors. All designs are unique hand made pieces, done with care and excellence for all occasions. La Coquito have made special collections for designer Olga Piedrahita as well as participated in fashion editorials for Infashion magazine. They have also designed for Television.
